Graz album v/d Maand Februari 2020: The Industry

Hoewel het animo ook nu het een maand betreft niet enorm lijkt te zijn, toch een nieuwe poging voor een album van de maand. En wel dat van The Industry - The Industry.

Het album kwam eind 2019 uit en het is opgenomen op Vlieland, afgelopen zomer, rondom Into The Great Wide Open. Leider is Willem Smit, frontman van Personal Trainer en Canshaker Pi, en verder doet de halve 'industrie' van Nederland mee (o.a. leden van Lewsberg en Pip Blom). 

Wat ik heel tof aan dit album vind, is dat het zowel heel consistent als enorm divers is. Een vrijwel perfecte 'verzamelaar' die een mooi beeld geeft van de huidige Nederlandse scene. Absoluut hoogtepunt is 'Obsession' met in de hoofdrol Lena Hassels.
