Volgens mij noemt hij het zelf een EP. Het was aangekodigt als EP en op Discogs wordt het ook een EP genoemd. Ik zou het zelf inderdaad ook gewoon als een album categoriseren.

Omdat het idd een dubbel-ep is, vandaar. Een nieuw album komt er naar verluid volgend jaar.

Wat is volgens jullie de beste track van Lana? Ik kom lastig door dat album heen.

Sowieso de eerste 3 nummers, Love Song, California, The Greatest, Bartender, Hope is a dangerous.....

Er hadden 3 a 4 nummers geschrapt moeten worden, dan was de plaat wat compacter geworden. Staan nu wat nummers op die qua sound net niet passen.

Next Best American Record en Doing Time zijn mijn favorieten. Vind het wel cool hoe iedereen verschillende lievelingstracks daarvan heeft.

Ik vind het als geheel ook een lange zit, maar Venice Bitch blijft gewoon heerlijk.

En een album van voor tot achter luisteren is niet echt meer de norm tegenwoordig, dus wat weten wij nou?

In de vorige jaren kwam ik met moeite tot tien platen die ik echt heel goed vond, dit jaar is qua albums zo sterk dat ik een top 20 kan maken. En het is dat ik compilaties/liveplaten niet meeneem, maar anders stond ook Electric Lady Sessions van LCD Soundsystem hoog.

Verassend weinig electronica en veel Roadburn 2020 namen. Ik heb pas de laatste 3 maanden nieuwe muziek kunnen luisteren dus ik heb veel gemist.
